NeuroField Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency
“At our most elemental, we are not a chemical reaction, but an energetic charge. Human beings and all living things are a coalescence of energy in a field of energy connected to every other thing in the world. This pulsating energy field is the central engine of our being and our consciousness, the alpha and the omega of our existence.”
-Lynn McTaggart, The Field
NeuroField is a type of energy biofeedback using pEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field therapy). Remembering that we are systems composed of chemicals, electricity, and magnetic fields, this therapy is used to add energy for healing into the mind-body system through the magnetic field. The human body emits a field of energy that exists outside the body. The NeuroField uses a tiny electric field much less than your headphones, does not induce any current into the brain, but rather pulses very low frequency through magnets into the external field. We place a cap on the head, and move the four magnets over the specific locations of the brain for three basic reasons:
- Thalamic de-habituation to break up brain’s unhealthy patterns to make the neurofeedback more receptive to changing nerve network habits;
- Entrainment of the brain to the most needed frequency of electrical activity;
- Re-charge electron deficient damaged molecular systems which allows the body to better initiate its own inherent recuperative healing powers.
Overall, NeuroField is an energy replenishment and stress reduction therapy that may be suitable for some individuals. It allows us to get the brain to “wake up” and perform like a “marching band” in a steady slow rhythm, restoring regulation through gentle stimulation you cannot even feel.
Our clinicians make decisions for which types of biofeedback are the most effective for each person. No two mind-brain-body systems are alike. Session fees are the same if one, two, or three modalities must be used in your therapy session.
“Inherent in its capacity to learn and adapt (i.e., to habituate) is the CNS' (Central Nervous System) ability to learn to be sick (pathological habituation) by looking in certain deranged central neural circuitries, leading to chronic disease states. These pathologically habituated states can be reversed by dehabituation through manipulation or modulation of the abnormal neural circuits by physical means (physical neuromodulation) like acupuncture, or chemical means (chemoneuromodulation) such as Chinese medicine, homeopathy or other modern medical techniques in a repetitious manner to mimic the habituation process.”
